JOB OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT Job Title: Senior Project Manager Division: Operations Classification: Exempt Location: Springfield Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Position Summary: This is a professional level position that will act as a primary contact with ISTO clients to help them design and adopt solutions that will make their jobs easier. This role will document and evaluate business requirements, improve business processes, and help ISTO clients communicate and collaborate successfully, while utilizing technology solutions effectively and efficiently. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of assigned projects, including project management, business analysis, testing and implementation tasks for one or more high priority or medium-to-high complexity project(s), and/or continuous business improvement efforts. Senior Project Manager will champion innovation and the adoption of new processes and technologies. The Senior Project Manager will utilize project management methodologies to develop and manage business cases, project charters, communication plans, and issue and risk logs while working closely with senior management as well as other departments to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on track. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and educating junior staff in project management and business analysis operations and processes. Attendance is an essential function of this position. Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead projects from the initial phase through final implementation.

Identify, develop, and initiate innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist.

Effectively communicate with ISTO staff to collect business requirements and translate them into developer-friendly specifications and test cases.

Effectively set and manage project expectations with stakeholders and communicate status updates in a clear and timely fashion.

Define and continuously manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Collaborate with ISTO staff and external parties to deliver digital, web, and collaboration solutions which meet business requirements.

Develop and maintain wireframes, workflows, and other business and process analysis documentation.

Support end-users with training and provide one-on-one assistance to promote the adoption and drive sustainment of digital, web and collaboration solutions.

Build, grow and develop relationships vital to the success of projects.

Identify and manage risks associated with assigned projects, recommend mitigation strategies, and develop contingency plans as necessary.

Assist in defining organizational governance (e.g., sets up new processes and guidelines)

Work cross-functionally to solve problems, implement changes, and maximize workflow efficiencies.

Demonstrate superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions, resolve conflicts, and create lasting, productive partnerships with business partners.

Provide support for ISTO intranet and SharePoint needs.

Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably related to the duties enumerated above.

Experience mentoring, coaching, and educating team members on project management and business analysis processes, tools, and techniques.

Experience working in remote teams.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.

Experience with communication and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for college degree. 4+ years of project management or business related experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to carry out the duties of the position.
