Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the industry for a Customer Service Representative in Springfield, Massachusetts. You will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of our customer interactions and related processes.Responsibilities: Address incoming calls from both clients and brokers with professionalism and efficiency. Efficiently process incoming checks and requests. Execute the creation and distribution of insurance policies to clients and brokers. Manage the input of client data into the computer system. Oversee the issue of finance agreements and certificates of insurance. Undertake the responsibility of creating new client files. Ensure the maintenance and updating of files, including a central pending file system. Handle the issuance of new prospect/renewal letters. Maintain and update the database regularly. Assist in the completion of Underwriting Evaluation forms. Support in issuing reports and carrying out special projects as assigned. Perform miscellaneous duties, including photocopying and typing, as required. Handle the distribution and date stamping of all incoming mail. Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills. Prior experience in a call center customer service environment, showcasing ability to handle customer queries effectively. Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Experience with data entry, ensuring accurate and timely input of customer information. Ability to manage email correspondence professionally, responding to customer inquiries promptly and effectively. Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on data analysis, report generation, and spreadsheet management. Skillful in Microsoft Word, highlighting document creation, editing, and formatting abilities. Experience in order entry, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, managing and prioritizing multiple bookings simultaneously.
