This role will lead a delivery team that is modernizing Investment Research systems for both Home Office and Branch Users. The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one system, or sub-components of low to medium complex product structures. They are responsible for providing thought leadership and driving a functional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm.
The role is accountable for the respective product's branch/client/home office experience that necessitates a system thinking approach.
This work includes management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource requirements, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value.
This individual additionally serves as the primary contact for issues and escalations related to their supported systems, providing as timely resolution as possible.
This individual will additionally interact and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the department strategy.
This role will collaborate with the Sr Product Owner/Product Manager to maintain and prioritize the product backlog. Assist in writing well defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the backlog is refined and ready for sprint planning.
This role will collaborate with QE resources to define acceptance criteria and ensure that the delivered product meets quality standards.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum 2+ years of experience within financial services or digital product management
Knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis on the Product.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail orientation with strong analytical capabilities.
Ability to deliver results with some direction.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and direct work in a way that maximizes both personal and team efficiency.
Teamwork / collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization and drive toward a decision.
A base understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework.
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with a preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
