Job Description
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting all activities regarding Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Qualifications
- Match, code, and post customer payments to Accounts Receivable ledger
- Validate and process Accounts Payable invoices
- Review vendor statements and request copies of invoices when necessary.
- Review credit applications and send requests for credit references
- Process web credit card invoices
- Enter customer invoices into customer portals.
- Manage supplier portal
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an accounting position
- Minimum two (2) years ERP system experience
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Experienced with business applications and accounting software
- Strong data entry and management skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Excellent math skills, including basic computations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
