Job Description:We are seeking a reliable and responsible Garage Door and Supplies Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and experience in delivery and transportation. This position will involve safely transporting garage doors, parts, and related products to customers' locations in a timely manner.Responsibilities:
Load and unload garage doors, openers, and accessories onto delivery trucks using proper lifting and safety techniques.
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport products to customers' homes and businesses.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
Navigate to deliver locations using GPS or maps and ensure timely arrival.
Verify delivery instructions and addresses before departing to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
Obtain customer signatures and confirm delivery receipt upon arrival at the destination.
Communicate effectively with customers to prive delivery updates and address any delivery-related inquiries or concerns.
Inspect delivered products for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Missouri Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivery, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to life and carry heavy objects.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work varied hours.
