Growing together.As a Senior Business Operations Coordinator supporting the Optum Behavioral Health team you will be working with multiple psychologists and physicians and their seasoned administrative staff to ensure that peer reviews are scheduled, and psychological testing requests are routed and/or authorized within compliance turnaround time requirements. Using the telephone, electronic calendar, and proprietary member databases to schedule clinical peer reviews for a centralized team of psychologist and physician reviewers
These tasks require a detail-oriented individual who is highly motivated and has the ability to work quickly and accurately in computer-based systems
You will engage with a variety of providers and their administrative staff via phone to schedule reviews that need to occur within strict time guidelines
This position requires fluency with translating one time zone to another when scheduling and tenacity to resolve issues related to requests and scheduling
A willingness to learn new systems and take on new tasks as requested by management is essential
Routing psychological testing requests and/or creating administrative authorizations in proprietary systems within compliance turnaround time requirements

High School Diploma/GED
2+ years of experience working in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
Demonstrated ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and shift focus quickly without loss of attention to detail
Proven solid written and verbal communication skills
Proven solid customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining accountable for meeting deadlines
Demonstrated ability to remain focused and productive each day, completing tasks that may be repetitive
Demonstrated ability to accurately work with scheduling across various time zones
Proficiency and comfort with computers, Windows systems, and Microsoft Office Suites, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Demonstrated ability to speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard and mouse, and long periods working at a computer
Available to work 40 hours per week remotely and within standard business hours M-F 8am-4:30pm working in Central Standard time
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience working with insurance, specifically behavioral health benefits
Proven experience working as a telecommuter and learning new skills remotely
Proven knowledge of HIPAA requirements
Proven knowledge of state and federal peer review turn-around-time requirements and state sign-off requirements
Experience working with Salesforce
Proven proficiency with LINX, ICUE, and STAR
