Thousand Hills State Park features Forest Lake, a 573-acre reservoir created by the damming of Big Creek and serves as a fresh water supply to the population of Kirksville, Missouri. This site provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities such as swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing. Thousand Hills Hospitality will offer a retail gift shop, full-service restaurant, cabin style lodging as well as boat and slip rentals.
