Site Utility Contractor seeking experienced Operator in commercial sanitary, storm and water installation.
Qualifications include:
Lead a crew/job of 3-4 employees with minimal supervision
Ability to read civil building plans
Ability to follow instructions and convey instructions
Ability to calculate measurements, use pipe lasers, transits
Experience operating an Excavator/Breaker, Mini Excavator
Digging trenches to specified depths and widths, digging around public utilities, ensuring trench safety protocols are followed, use of protections systems and shoring when necessary
Loading and Unloading materials using equipment, ensuring materials are transported to the appropriate staging locations on the construciton site
Ability to operate hand and power tools, pipe laser, earth tampers, survey and measuring equipment safely
This position will require flexibility running equipment and laboring when needed
Experience in laying sanitary, storm and water pipe
Must have reliable transportation, able to report to work on time, work outside in all weather conditions, able to work overtime if required, able to work independently with little supervision as well with a team of individuals, willing to travel to work in and near Kansas City.
