Eitas is currently hiring an Automotive Technician:
Located at our Transportation Center, 6400 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64133
Full-time schedule Monday–Friday (with overtime as needed)

22 days of PTO earned your first year, 12 holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year
Starting pay range: $23.04/hr. – $30.72/hr.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Diagnose and repair automotive/light and medium duty truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule.
Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems to specifications, in a safe and timely manner.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to other technicians, internal and external customers as needed.
Respond to service requests submitted by drivers regarding the general maintenance or condition of the vehicles.
Maintain current knowledge of new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.
Be available for emergency service in the event of an in-route vehicle breakdown.
The successful candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 to 10 years of Service Technician experience (must provide your own tools)
Good driving record
Missouri State Inspector’s permit or the ability to obtain this permit
Current Refrigeration, Recycling and Recovery certification or the ability to obtain this certification
Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
Federal DOT medical certification or the ability to obtain this certification
ASE Certifications are a plus
