One-on-one nursing, short, in-home visits early-mornings so you can make good money and then do something else with your day.
$150 for about three (3) hours Mondays or Thursdays (plus opportunity to pick up other mornings or fill-in when available for $75 for about 1.5 hours).
Two (2) nurses have worked here for 12 years and still do a couple mornings a week! Two (2) others were also 10+ years before they moved on. If you seem like a good fit, any of them will be happy to answer any questions.
It's a great job for people who listen and learn the system; but not so much for those who don't.
That's the only hard part getting past expectations for how things need to be done (because the system works great but it is very counterintuitive). Once you get it, it's pretty easy, but you have to be reliable/dependable.
Once you get the system, it's like clockwork. That's why people who are good stay for so long. Right now, one of my nurses is moving out of town.
I broke my neck and was paralyzed when I was 22. But then I went to law school and have a busy, thriving law practice out of my home office in Overland Park. I just need help getting ready every morning. That's me in the photo (taken in September).
Some very small nurses have worked for me and can handle me no problem. It just takes learning the system.
If you can learn the routine/system, you can make MORE than $50 per hour!
I pay by the visit to give incentive to get done quickly. $150 (for about 3 hours). Other days pay $75 (for about 1-1.5 hours). If you finish more quickly, it still pays the same.
We start about 7 AM: earlier on Mondays and Thursdays, 5:30.
All taxes are taken out and payday is every 2 weeks by direct deposit through ADP Payroll company. We do a background check on everyone works for me so all can feel comfortable.
