- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment used in the kitchen
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Skills:
- Willingness to help out with other tasks in the kitchen as needed
- Basic culinary knowledge is a bonus
- Familiarity with bussing tables and clearing dishes
Please note that this position involves frequent standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. The ability to work in a hot and humid environment is also required.
