The Payroll & Operations Admin will be responsible for calculating and entering daily Mixed Batch production and consumption of siloed material into SAP. Responsible for supporting the accurate preparation and distribution of the organization’s hourly payroll. Serves as a liaison with other departments, units, or locations in the resolution of payroll problems. Ensure accurate and timely wage payments for the hourly workforce of Kansas City CertainTeed system(s) UKG (Kronos system) and People Soft. Job includes analyzing payroll issues, tracking overtime, recording and tracking vacations and payroll deductions, completing special reports or requests to meet plant and group management requirements. Daily Mixed Batch Production, download of report an entry into SAP.
Daily review and processing of COGI
Month End Mixed Batch Production on last day of month (regardless if weekend)
Processing of COGI on last day of month (regardless if weekend) after all receipts entered.
Month End Reporting
Kronos Reports for full calendar month
Kronos Report full accrual period (differs depending on when last payroll posted before close of month)
Labor Distribution for full month and accrual period.
Payroll:
Complete bi-weekly payroll for Kansas City employees, including analyses, tracking, and reporting vacations, overtime, payroll deductions and any other special reporting or requests.
Timely and accurate payroll processing
Requests for manual check (SPOE, Single Point of Entries)
Management/Review of Attendance Points, and assisting supervisors to keep up with write-ups in line with the CBA
- Office Admin Tasks:
Job Bidding – Posting, bid cards, and attendance at weekly cascade meetings
Badges and Time Cards – create cards, orders supplies as needed, track replacement badge fees, and update security access.
Uniforms – manage Cintas Orders, and cancellations
Office & Coffee Supplies orders
Distribute Employee Boot & Prescription Safety Glasses vouchers in adherence with the CBA
Other Misc. Tasks as requested
High School Diploma, GED
Some experience in Payroll. Multi-state payroll reporting and additional experience in Accounting or Finance can be a plus. Working knowledge of automated payroll systems and applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
