Performance & Material Management Formulations Operations, are
to:
Coordinate with the K4 Production
Planner to develop the most efficient production schedule for the
plant that balances both the overall formulation sequences on the
various trains as well as the final
packaging;
Communicate the need for tech blending,
rework required, other special requirements for
production;
Be responsible for material planning,
SAP TR (transfer request) executions for formulation ingredients,
as well as identifying and addressing any potential shortages on
formulation and packaging
materials;
Be responsible for all aspects of
material movements to support K4 formulations, warehousing,
inventory accuracy;
Work with Midwest Warehousing on
shipment priorities, just in time shipments, managing deliveries to
optimize use of trailer fleet;
Oversee the trailer fleet to make sure
slow-moving material is unloaded or returned to
caves;
Execute inventory adjustments (within
defined value limits), assist with returns to
caves;
Develop and implement improved
procedures for inventory accuracy, reducing the number of scan
issues, and improving overall
efficiency;
Be responsible for cycle time analysis
of K4 formulated and packaged
products;
Work on projects such as Virtual Factory and OnePSS (Product
Supply System) as well as other process simulation tools for
improved planning accuracy.

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the
following:Required Qualifications:
High School diploma with a minimum 5
years of production planning experience;
Experience with SAP, MS Office Suite
and must be an intermediate level user of
Excel;
Ability to communicate and collaborate
with relevant groups.
