Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, CCS ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world.POSITION PURPOSE:The Data Center Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of our controlled environments. This position is not only about keeping areas visually clean but ensuring that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the strict guidelines of cleanliness required in a data center setting.SCHEDULE:9:30am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday'sMAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly

Responsible for participating in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement

Normal duties include but are not limited to micro-cleaning all surfaces within the general and critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors

The ability to follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation

Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances)

Review change to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train.

Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel

All other duties as defined by supervisorPRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING:Other more specific results will be assigned and measured.Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements

Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work and Standard Operating Procedures

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Pass a background check and I-9 verification process

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
