Job Description As a Data Migration Engineer I you will build and test data migrations to support federal non-DICOM Image Migration activities. Be able to configure image migration build and complete data extractions/uploads. Utilize standardized error reporting to create reports for clients and oversee error completion. You will also provide tier 2 troubleshooting and issue resolution for image migration uploads. Complete image migration testing, as well as manage image migration changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates and clients. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications
Basic Qualifications- At least 4 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- At least 1 year of scripting work experience
- At least 1 year of SQL work experience, specifically PostgreSQL
- Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
- Must reside in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City or live in a virtual approved city
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
