Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Technician – Composites to join the Quality team in Hazelwood, MO .Successful candidate will have strong background working in NDT techniques with composites.This position will be working in a dynamic team supportive team within a shop floor environment, evaluating flight control surfaces, using automated and traditional systems, evaluating collected data, making accept/reject decisions. Ideal candidates will have the ability to interpret blueprint requirements and have the capability of developing inspection procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in NAS410 standard, be an effective communicator, and be able to work across multiple diverse functions, including partnering with engineering teams.This position requires a minimum of a ASNT Level II NDT certification in either Ultrasonic or Radiography, with preference given to candidates holding a currently Level III certification.Position Responsibilities:

Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.

Develops procedures and processes.

Performs tests or inspections and collects data.

Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.

Provides feedback on adverse trends.

Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.

Conducts certification preparation training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum required formal education in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) for a Certified Level 2 per NAS410 in Ultrasonic Inspection or Radiographic Testing

1+ years of experience in NDT Quality Testing

3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 3 NDT Certification in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiography (RT)

Aerospace industry experience

Experience coaching NDT technicians

Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)
