Broad Function and Purpose of PositionTo perform clerical duties for the shipping department to include data entry, inventory transactions and reporting, cycle count reporting and analysis and maintenance of shipping documents.Specific Responsibilities:Create transfer orders per customers requirements.Schedule standard and expedited shipments.Process material handling requests.Monitor and execute FIFO practices.Performs additional shipping responsibilities as needed.Submit ASN’s for all outbound shipments.Manage all shipping paperwork.Meet & greet drivers, direct drivers for loading.Work with material handling team to ensure orders are pulled.Assist in scheduling outbound toller deliveries.
