Responsibilities:Maintain the plants profitability and ensure all safety and quality requirements are metDevelop and implement business plans that align with company goals and overall strategic visionBuild a high performing team and work collaboratively to drive change initiatives within the organizationDrive and implement continuous improvement initiatives tied to the strategic business directionLeads cost reduction efforts and process improvements for the facility to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.Leads scheduling for the facility to ensure that operations run according to established production schedules.Leads the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for the facility to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resources.Heads materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.Establishes performance objectives and leads cell performance and productivity.Partners with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.Qualifications:Must have a bachelors degree in business and/or relevant related work experience.Must have a minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in the industry, along with proven experience in budget and financial managementMust be familiar with a variety of quality concepts and practices including; ISO 9001, AS 9100Must be able to pass basic skills assessment for Microsoft Excel and also demonstrate basic skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPointHave a proven track record of goal setting and achievement and demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate diverse teamsAbility to initiate projects in pursuit of greater profitability, anticipate potential problems and address them earlyAbility to facilitate the development of others knowledge and skillsDemonstrated knowledge of capital management (PandL and capital budgets) and analyzing financial dataMust possess excellent strategic planning and analytical skillsAbility to operate with the customers best interest in mindMust be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsMust display a high degree of confidentiality at all timesMust have the ability to follow-up effectively with internal and external customers.Strong preference will be given to individuals with experience in CNC Machining manufacturing especially within the aerospace industry.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
