Follow work orders and written instructions to setup and operate various machines in the plant, working alongside experienced staff to increase in skill
Set up and operate machine for production runs
Ensure the correct tooling and programs are being run for each job
Adjust machine feed and speed, change tooling, and make adjustments to machine controls during machine malfunction
Calculate machine speed and feed ratio, as well as the size and position of each cut
Use precision measuring tools
Maintain clean and organized work areas
