Facilities Technician

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Technician to work with our Operations team in Easton, MD.Facilities Technician responsibilities include:Assist scientists and other laboratory employees in the general day-to-day operation of the laboratory equipment.Maintains storage (organize and inventory), ensures equipment/supplies are available and in good working order.Maintain, repair, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.Set up rooms and test units for studies.May handle regulated materials, potential biohazard materials, and toxic chemicals using proper labeling and dilution.Perform grounds maintenance including, but not limited to, mowing, removal of leaves, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal, maintenance of driveways and parking areas.Assist with janitorial duties including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, emptying trashcans, and maintaining janitorial equipment.Completes cleaning, maintenance, and assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.Communicates effectively and regularly with supervisor regarding timelines, project completion, and any issues that may arise.Completes documentation legibly, timely, and accurately according to all regulatory requirements.Maintains and completes equipment logbooks.
