This role will play a key part in developing our platform-as-a-service offering as well as directly interface with software development staff, product owners and participate in an agile team of cross-functional engineers.Platform Engineering Team sits in Systems Engineering Infrastructure side but interfaces with Developers a lot.this team is responsible for Infrastructure automation'lot of coding ( Python) lot of CI/CD pipelinesuse source code versioning.targeting infrastructure and need to understand VmWare, Operating systems, Linux , windows Load balancers (f5) have the mindset to understand the algorithms and coding practices.Mostly Python related codingthey develop tools for use an consumption of their peers inside infrastructure. Develop automation tools that solve problems on a repetitive taskstream together the logic. use APi's that are already out there, but writing the glue code that calls to the api's use Gitlab and for source code repository use rancher as deployment to containersWe’ll also want to know you can demonstrate these attributes:Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:• Work with product owners, team-mates and software developers to build service offerings supporting our highly-available infrastructure• Participate in an agile team, including various ceremonies and daily work commitment• Escalate road-blocks and barriers to product owner or team-lead and utilize tight feedback-loops to keep in step with team• Ensure you continuously grow in your business knowledge, technical knowledge and incorporate evolving customer experience trends into your tools/services/products.• Experience managing F5 BigIP Application Delivery Controllers, bonus points utilizing iControl or AS3 API• Fluency with at least one scripting language (PowerShell, python, etc.)• Understanding of modern TLS standards and Public Key Infrastructure
