POSITION SUMMARYThe employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Interact with all guests and employees and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities on property and the property itself.
Perform maintenance with guidance from supervisor.
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
Basic Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel.
Ability to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property with guidance from supervisory personnel.
Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
Operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery that relate to the function of a maintenance shop. Chemicals used in maintenance. Ladders and safety equipment.
Operate all lawn equipment including tractors, gators and perform basic grounds keeping.
Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
Performs other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAbility to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone.Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke filled casino environment with above average noise levels.Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.Availability to work 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, varied work schedules and holidays.[]{style="font-size: 15px; font-fami"}
