Intern Compliance & System Integrity EngineerQUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Engineering major required
Successfully completed freshman year or above
In good academic standing
Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including field visits
Ability to lift materials up to 35 pounds
Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Assist with the development of Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) projects and plans
Support the development and management of pipeline integrity programs and risk models
Participate in the management of the Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS)
Assist with database development, management and tracking of compliance initiatives
Identify opportunities for process improvement to help build efficiencies into workflows
Aid in the development of welding programs
Assist with the management of Operator Qualification tracking and program
Participate in organizational work meetings
Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week) and September - December part-time (20 hours per week).$20.00 per hour.Open until filled.
