This position is located at the Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO.Education and Experience:

Minimum one year of experience operating a loader and/or other mobile equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to identify materials and storage locations properly.

Ability to follow feed mixing, loading, and unloading procedures. Proficient in basic maintenance, including but not limited to tightening, lubrication, and

cleaning.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to monitor a furnace control panel.

Responsibilities:

Operate mobile equipment to feed the furnace, move furnace feed, or furnace product.

Identify material correctly according to furnace feed, storage location, and furnace by-product.

Operate feed belt and swing spout to properly feed the furnace.

Operate bobcat and other mobile equipment to clean up work areas and transport material.

Clean and maintain crane aisle, pick up kettles, and clean belt lines.

Assist furnace operators as needed.

Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment, Physical and Lifting:

Regularly required to wear personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, respirator, hearing protection and eyewear. Frequently required to work near moving, mechanical parts and moderate noise levels. Occasionally exposed to vibration, extreme heat, in confined spaces and at heights of more than 4 feet with fall protection.

Frequently required to walk and performing repetitive movements. Occasionally requires sitting, feeling attributes of objects, grasping, pushing, and driving. Requires clarity of vision at 20 feet and 20 inches, three-dimensional vision, the ability to judge distance and spatial relationships, precise hand-eye coordination, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.

Frequently required to lift up to 15 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds.
