Utilizes training opportunities to significantly reduce contract dependency for the same equipment. Provides equipment repair and preventative maintenance throughout responsible area. Effectively handles all service emergencies and necessary communications with Vendor, Department, and Clinical Engineering Manager. Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished. Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost-effective maintenance of medical equipment. Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis. Aids with life cycle analysis, planning of installation, site preparations for new or relocated equipment. Ability to read blueprints and effectively communicate to architects, engineers, and project managers. Provides cross training and technical support in the shop and clinical environment. Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance. Supports regional branches and affiliates as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Education High School, GED, or equivalent. Supplementary training in human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology required to be completed prior to becoming a level II.
