Apex System has an opening for an Application Architect with heavy logistics/supply chain experience. The architect is responsible for working with Software and Applications Engineers to define technology architecture, including policies, standards and procedures used by Implementation and Support/Operations teams. Previous experience in architecting/designing solutions with a mix of internal and 3rd party systems in the logistics/supply chain domain is required as this resource will focus on complex logistics initiatives. - 2-3 years of experience designing and developing technology solutions and managing multiple technical consulting projects in an architectural or development leadership capacity.
- Experience in Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain domain
- Experience with ProShip or other carrier compliance/carrier selection solutions.
- Development experience with web technologies such as Java/C, and XML processing is desirable.
- Prior experience with RPG and AS/400 systems is also desirable
- Experience in working with vendors and coordinating design and delivery activities across multiple parties would be highly desirable
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
