Maintaining current unit specific competencies. 3. Assisting with orientation of staff members and the teaching of students as needed. 4. Seeking/soliciting the help of or guidance from immediate supervisor or appropriate resource person. 5. Performing duties in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision. 6. Participates as a preceptor as needed. Demonstrating attendance and reliability as evidenced by: 1. Willing to adjust personal schedule in case of a real department need (work late, work extra shift). 2. Being on time and ready to work at the start of the shift. 3. Rotating shifts as required including weekends and holidays. 4. Utilizing ID badge to clock in and out. 5. Attending work with minimal occurrences.
