Position: Systems Architect / SharePoint Administrator Start Date: ASAP END DATE: 3 Years from projected start dateWork Location: Jackson, MSEducation: Bachelor''s Degreemust be on site from day 1, no exceptions.CLIENT is seeking the services of one IT consultant to apply strong architectural, networking and application development skills to the analysis, design, development, integration, installation, implementation, and supportof their existing IT infrastructure. This consultant will resolve problems, which require an intimate knowledge of hardware, OS and application stack, including SharePoint 2010, 2013, .NET 3.5 - 6.0, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, as well as a wide range of OS, DB and application expertise such as Oracle, Linux, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and .NET technologies.Candidate must have extensive experience with live video streaming technologies such as RTSP, H.264, WebRTC, HLS, ONVIF, and Wowza Media Server. This consultant will be a Streaming Video Architect who develops and maintains software tools and systems to diagnose, manage, search an inventory of over 1000 traffic cameras. This consultant will interact with a variety of IP camera models and assist in developing software and operational procedures to manage the camera network and related services.1.1 Consultant will serve as CLIENT's Traffic Management Systems Architect to develop software for managing a highly available traffic camera streaming infrastructure.1.2 Consultant will lead an effort to support the CLIENT Mobile Application, including push notification infrastructure using Amazon SNS.1.3 Consultant will develop and manage a highly available API for CLIENT's mobile application, and Traffic Management systems which include DMS signs, Cameras, Traffic alerts, weather sensors, and various field deployed devices.1.4 Consultant will develop and manage NGINX caching nodes for various APIs and live streaming video content.1.5 Consultant will maintain and assist with analysis of log collection and processing to diagnose and monitor CLIENT's mobile traffic API, traffic camera streaming services, and other systems using Elastic Stacktechnologies.1.6 Consultant will utilize load testing and other diagnostic services to ensure high availability and scalability of traffic API, camera streaming, and web infrastructure under high-utilization scale-out scenarios.1.7 Consultant will develop applications that use CLIENT to discover camera capabilities.2 The consultant must have expert level experience in SharePoint Administration of and development for a large multi-node SharePoint farm.2.1 The consultant will lead effort to migrate existing SharePoint infrastructure and applications to other systems such as OpenText Application Content Management (formerly EMC ApplicationXtender), MediaWiki, and custom ASP.NET Applications.2.2 The consultant will ensure SharePoint infrastructure is properly maintained until migration efforts are complete and daily monitor the farm for any issues.2.3 The consultant will assist developers in development of custom or 3rd party systems to replace SharePoint functionality in container management platforms.2.4 The consultant will assist developers in utilizing content management systems, wikis, and other systems to replace SharePoint functionality.3 To be effective in both the Traffic Engineering Systems Architect and SharePoint Administration roles, the candidate must be proficient in .NET development and web technologies at use within the organization.3.1 Consultant will develop, document, and maintain authentication infrastructure using ADFS, OAuth, and OpenID for single-sign on services used by custom applications and 3rd party software.3.2 Consultant will develop, maintain, and document Microsoft Web Application Proxy and NGINX proxies3.3 Consultant will assist in developing Continuous Integration processes for software and configuration using Team Foundation Services and Git.3.4 Consultant must have extensive knowledge of Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio Professional, and Vim for editing code and configuration files.3.5 This consultant will lead effort to move CLIENT's in-house developed software as well as third party software to open source containerized software in a Kubernetes Container Management platform.3.6 The consultant will assist operations team in ensuring secure remote access via Web Application Proxy, F5 Load Balancer, and NGINX proxies.3.7 Where appropriate, the consultant will implement Amazon Web Services, Azure cloud, or other cloud provider/CDN along with maintaining those services to supplement CLIENT's on-prem infrastructure for Traffic Management Systems.Required Skills/Experience:Individual proposed must have verifiable working experience in the following;•10+ Years' experience SharePoint administration and development•10+ Years' experience in .NET server, mobile, and web development•8+ Years' experience with live streaming video technologies•8+ Years' experience developing application proxies and high availability cachingPreferred/Not RequiredImplementation and management of IT projects within the government sector including specific experience working with state government
