If so, this position is for you! A local Ag Equipment dealer is looking for experienced Diesel Technicians to join their growing team. As a Diesel Technician, you would be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural equipment to help deliver top notch service to their rapidly growing customer base.Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters.
Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety procedures.
Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs.
Maintains paperwork documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred; Previous experience with AGCO, CLAAS or Versatile products is a plus but not required.
Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs., lift/carry up to 60lbs; Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and grasp.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must provide own general automotive tools.
Benefits and Pay:
Starting Pay: $24.05 - $32.97/hr. DOE
