- Work with users to analyze, organize, and document business requirements
- Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
- Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
- Attend regular meetings with project leadership and team members
- Update and create required documentation for the project using knowledge of functional requirements to help with design as well as documentation and review
- Assist with recognizing, monitoring, and providing potential solutions for risks/issues

- Build and develop effective working relationships with project participants, vendors, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
- Mandatory: Previous experience working as a Business Analyst on Medicaid/MMIS or government healthcare projects
- Prior experience working as BA on PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) modules to support the success of that system
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of various Pharmacy MMIS components
- Possess a strong understanding of Medicaid Management Information Systems (preferred)
- Strong development lifecycle and solution documentation skills
- Able to interact and coordinate with senior management and all non-technical/technical members of the organization
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
