Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Jackson, Georgia, 30233, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the company’s financial health by managing customer accounts and ensuring prompt payment for services rendered. Your duties will involve monitoring invoices, liaising with various teams to ensure excellent customer relations, and maintaining up-to-date customer records.Responsibilities Oversee customer accounts and pursue outstanding payments as necessary. Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless customer relations. Accurately input payments into company financial systems such as QuickBooks and Accumatica. Keep customer records updated, including changes to names, billing addresses, corporate mergers, and personnel shifts. Draft correspondence for standard accounts in arrears and collections. Generate reports as required. Aid in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger. Assist in reconciling revenue accounts monthly. Monitor the aging of invoices and take necessary actions.contraRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required for this role. Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must. Experience in Billing is necessary for this position. Knowledge in Cash Applications is essential. The ability to manage Cash Collections is needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial for this role. Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.
