If the below position is something you are interested in, please send a copy of your updated resume to The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst II is a crucial role in the defense of the company's corporate systems and critical business processes. The monitoring, analyzing, and classifying of potential and active threats targeting the company is a first line of defense. A SOC Analyst II must be agile, willing to learn, and think outside of the box in order to operate effectively in an ever-changing threat landscape. The Analyst will work collaboratively to detect and respond to potential information security incidents, maintain and follow procedures for security event alerting, and participate in security investigations. The Analyst will perform tasks including monitoring, research, classification and analysis of security events that occur on all layers of the defense-in-depth model from the perimeter to the organization's mission critical data. Job Specific Requirements -

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional IT or Information Security experience.
  • Security certifications required (e.g., GSEC, Security +, CEH, CYSA)
  • Understanding of threats, attacks, logs, operating systems and key security technology (firewalls, anti-malware, proxies)
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with impromptu tasking and loosely defined requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and security related issues
  • Experience working in a 24/7 environment preferred
