Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer IIJob DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing is carried out in the most time-efficient and cost-effective way while maintaining overall product quality. This role involves responding to production problems, maximizing efficiency, determining necessary parts and tools, and leading complex projects.Responsibilities
Respond to production problems and escalations where repeat failures or large business impacts are occurring.
Take on initiatives to solve challenges without a lot of direction.
Maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization in the assigned area.
Determine the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
Work on projects with complexity and lead projects impacting singular or multiple teams with advanced planning required for task sequencing.
Provide direction to operators, leads, and supervisors in response to problems and escalations.
Perform moderate to advanced engineering calculations.
Support advanced Continuous Improvement (CI) work.
Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements.

B.S. degree in Engineering (preferred but not required)
3-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
3-5 years of hands-on engineering experience
3-5 years of experience in Process Improvement, Kaizen Events, Continuous Improvement, etc.
