You will act as the expert on federal and state regulations, set up compliance procedures, and ensure adherence to reporting requirements. Your role involves working both within the division and with external partners to ensure effective compliance and reporting processes.Duties:
Oversee the development and updates of comprehensive guidelines, procedures, and standards for all SSBCI programs related to compliance.
Provide leadership to SSBCI program administrators and advise approved lenders on project issues, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
Lead all SSBCI reporting efforts, including quarterly, annual, and tranche requests.
Advise OBF supervisors, the deputy director, or the executive director on compliance issues related to other programs administered by OBF.
This posting may be used to fill multiple positions.Minimum QualificationsTo receive credit for your education and experience, your resume should clearly describe how you meet each minimum and/or preferred qualification listed, including dates of employment.Four (4) years of experience in public administration, including a strong understanding of legal and compliance aspects related to government regulations.A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Legal Studies, or a closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute for one (1) year of experience; a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Law, or a closely related field may substitute for eighteen (18) months of experience; a Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s degree in Law or Compliance may substitute for twenty-four (24) months of experience.Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:Ability to:
Have proficient attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in work.
Learn and adapt to updates in laws, regulations, and procedures.
Skill in:
Using technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

State or federally-funded economic development programs.
Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relevant to the role.
