The primary responsibilities of the role will include facilitating the monthly close process and ensuring the proper maintenance of accounting controls and processes.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Support monthly accounting close process for the business.
Prepare key accounting analyses and related journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports.
Preparations of financial statistics and information at appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly intervals
Support business projects from an accounting and control perspective
Support a strong control environment. Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement for internal controls.
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
1-5 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to recurring transactions
Excellent prioritization & organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables
Verbal & written communication skills that provide direct, succinct messages and can be understood by financial and non-financial business partners
Ability to identify areas of improvement and work with management to optimize processes
Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with SAP
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
