We're on the lookout for a friendly and caring LPN or RN (or even a real-life Mary Poppins!) to join our family and provide support for my young adult daughter. Alexandra recently turned 24 and requires 24-hour nursing care in her home. She’s medically complicated but sweet, forgiving and very tough! We have a really awesome crew right now but we need a few more so Alex can live her best life, stay in her own home and so I can consistently go to work. Alex just started in a day program at WACOSA and is going two days a week right now. She likes to get out in the community and go to the mall, go to movies, go swimming and walking at the YMCA, visit family, and go on fun adventures!
There’s also a nice respite rate for ALL evenings and ALL weekends (some dayshift) of $45/hr. for RN’s and $37/hr. for LPN’s. We work through a local nursing agency. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone who prefers to focus on a single patient and enjoy greater independence AND you could really make a difference in her life.
