Job Title: Securities Admin Services Analyst 2Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for extracting bond and loan calculations from large legal documents and uploading them into a database similar to Access. The role involves managing large loan portfolios, some exceeding $1B, and handling transactions, balancing daily cash, and reporting monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors. The candidate will also ensure the accuracy of client data extracted from documents. Strong Excel skills are essential, and basic knowledge of Access is a plus.Responsibilities
Extract bond and loan calculations from large legal documents.
Upload calculations into an Access-like database.
Manage large loan portfolios, including those over $1B.
Handle transactions and balance/reconcile daily cash.
Report on monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors.
Ensure the accuracy of client data extracted from documents.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sort, formulas, functions).
1+ year of experience in financial services, accounting, or analytical analysis; or a BS/BA degree in Math, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in an analytical role or at a bank is a bonus.
BA or BS in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Statistics.
Technical aptitude and readiness to learn.
Extracurricular activities or internships during schooling are preferred.
Work EnvironmentThe position is currently fully remote, with a planned return to the office for 2 days a week starting in September, located in downtown St. Paul, MN. Once converted, the hybrid schedule will transition to 3 days a week in the office (Tue-Thur).
