The Western Digital System Integration Test Lab, located in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Software Engineering Co-Op to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in OOP software development concepts and an interest in hardware, automation, scripting, and storage device validation testing.  The team builds internal software tools and automation to assist with system integration (hardware) testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement, document, and validate test automation framework improvements, test scripts, and bug fixes (software)Configure and debug enterprise servers, including storage device installation, OS setup, and network configuration Engage with technical experts (hardware) and test engineers to understand requirements and restrictionsParticipate in feature demonstrations to internal users and managementPlease note that this position is in-person (5 days/week) and is based in Rochester, Minnesota. A relocation benefit will be provided to eligible candidates for this role.
This is a co-op position and will last up to 8 months (January-August) based on individual university calendars.
