York Solutions is hiring a PCF Platform Engineer to work on a 100% remote basis. Platform Engineer Experience with VMWare Tanzu Application Service(Previously called Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) ) Installation , configuration and maintenance of the platform Support applications deployed on the platform Strong development experience with Concourse tool deploying to VMWare Tanzu application platform Experience with BOSH release management tools Good Knowledge in monitoring tools such as Prometheus , Grafana , Cloudwatch, Splunk, , Appdynamics, Dynatrace or related tools Good understanding of the AWS Services Strong scripting skills preferably in Terraform, Cloudformation Python, Perl , Unix shell scripting Good Understanding and troubleshooting experience with the container technologies (Kubernetes/Docker) Build and deployment automation using one or more platforms such as Jenkins, Concourse etc. Experience in an Agile and DevOps practices. Champion Agile best-practices, processes, and tools in support of DevOps processes Experience developing automation solutions and working in a highly automated environment Knowledge with data storage and data backup technologies Knowledge of baseline and operations inside a cloud environment Experience in programmatically balancing variable load patterns and optimizing cloud elasticity Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies Basic Database trouble shooting technique experience required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a fast paced environment under deadlines in a changing environment. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously, Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently Must be will willing to work in pair programming model
