Job Title: Heavy AssemblerJob DescriptionAssemble and test servo motors, using both hand and power tools. Follow manufacturing test procedures and contribute to continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process. This role involves working with larger motors, requiring a mechanically inclined candidate who can lift heavier objects.Responsibilities
Assemble and test servo motors using hand and power tools.
Follow manufacturing test procedures and suggest continuous improvement ideas.
Perform electronic and mechanical assembly, including reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
Operate machine tools and production tooling and fixtures.
Place parts in specified relationships either as sub-assemblies or final assemblies by soldering, clipping, screwing, or fastening all parts together using blueprints or schematics.
Perform soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing as required.
Rotate to different workstations as production needs require.
Help pack products into individual boxes and cases and place on skids.
Inspect and gauge finished parts, making tooling adjustments as necessary.
Handle and move supplies and materials.
Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts.
Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks of equipment.
Essential Skills
Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with machine tool operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the duration of the shift, bend, twist, and reach.
Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Soldering experience is a plus but not required.
