Angel Food Bakery, a highly regarded, locally owned bakeshop, has a foodservice building in Fridley that produces donuts, cupcakes, and other treats for our bakeries in St. Louis Park, Hopkins, and at the MSP Airport.
Our growth has been amazing, so we're on the lookout for a badass star who wants to be part of a business that even the Food Network and Martha Stewart Living have noticed. (Yup, we took the top $10,000 prize at the Cooking Channel's Donut Showdown competition, and our founder even tried to beat Bobby Flay on national TV.) We've also sent our donuts to several customers that have made us a bit starstruck, such as Lin Manuel, Isaac, Jerry Seinfeld, Vera Wang and others ;)
Our talented Fridley team consists of a small collective of passionate people with a penchant for perfection and we're looking to add an one more person (hopefully you?!) to deliver the goodies we make to our 3 locations. Of course, we have a fun van for those deliveries, which turn heads and make people smile.
This is a part time job with deliveries on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS from approx 6:30am - 11:30am (give or take 10-15 hours per week) There's a chance for more hours or a 3rd day down the road. The start time could be as early as 4am IF you prefer, but no later than 6:30.
Your day would involve arriving at our Fridley foodservice building, loading the van with boxes (so lots of bending over and moving items including buckets of icing that might weigh up to 50 lbs) and then driving to our 3 locations mentioned above.
Requirements:
Good driving record
CLEAN criminal record (MSP airport requirements; although many minor misdemeanors DO pass the TSA background check)
Strong ability to manage time (the airport has a strict delivery window for deliveries)
Ability to follow directions but also self manage
$20 per hour
Paid time off from the minute you start plus other benefits
