Bona Bros. is looking for a truck technician at our medium-duty truck repair shop in New Brighton, MN. Our shop repairs all makes, models and engines, but also specializes in aerial lift repairs, hydraulics, railroad equipment, and mobile truck cranes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of trucks. Willing to train the right candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-1st shift M-F from 7am-430pm
-Repair, overhaul, and perform routine maintenance on trucks and equipment according to factory specifications
-Extensive knowledge of OEM testing equipment, scan tools, and precision instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems is preferred (willing to train)
-Diagnose and repair malfunctions in hydraulic systems, rail gear, mobile cranes, and truck utilities
-Perform inspections of vehicles and equipment (DOT, FRA, ANSI) - training offered for certification
-Test drive vehicles and test components to ensure repair satisfaction
-Experience and proficiency in aftertreatment diagnosis and repair is required
QUALIFICATIONS
-At least 5 years of mechanical repair experience on trucks/automotive to apply
-Highly proficient in driveline and electrical diagnostics
-CDL Class A or B (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
-Pass Drug Test
-DOT Inspector preferred (will send to class)
-Diagnostic equipment experience is an absolute must (OEM software preferred)
