Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II

Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

$24.42 to $36.62 per hour, depending on experience.

Apothecary Products, LLC (APL) is seeking a talented Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Burnsville, Minnesota! In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of manufacturing maintenance for APL including repairs, replacements, adjustments, and maintenance of all equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to electrical troubleshooting and wiring, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and other facilities support.

The Opportunity:

Compensation for this role ranges from $24.42 to $36.62 per hour, depending on experience.

Day Shift hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Provide a variety of maintenance on machinery, printers, systems, and production related equipment including general repair,

preventative repair, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, compressed air systems, plumbing, HVAC, and related areas.

Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment in the APL facility.

Serve as an expert in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems and performing maintenance in a wide range of equipment families;

cross-train with team members too support entire facility.

Operate and maintain related electronic motors, starters, wiring, fuses, protective devices, and controls.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.; develop methods and

requirements to repair and maintain equipment; adapt methods where appropriate; provide assistance to other staff to understand

requirements.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and APL operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations;

support team in efforts to further develop the preventative maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, safe practices,

and general manufacturing practices.

Utilize tools, materials, and equipment according to safety and operational principles and practices; may handle and label

hazardous waste or materials based on area of assignment.

Operate forklifts and scissor lifts, as needed.

Performs basic welding (MIG, TIG) and soldering of components as required to maintain all production equipment and facility

systems working well.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs

of production equipment during machine service.

Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions

Qualifications + Experience:

Education: Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience

Work Experience:

3 years maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment in food, medical, printing or consumer packaged goods facilities.

Extensive electrical troubleshooting knowledge required

Extensive prior experience with pneumatics

Exposure to general facilities maintenance support required

Preferred Experience:

Supported manufacturing facility with at wide variety of production equipment

Working knowledge of PLC’s
