Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Infrastructure Installation Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Infrastructure Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and testing data center infrastructure, including:
Racks and cabinets
Cooling containment systems
Power distribution units (PDUs) and UPS systems
Network and cabling infrastructure (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber)
Responsibilities:
Install and configure data center infrastructure components
Ensure all equipment is properly cabled and connected
Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of installed systems
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of new equipment into existing infrastructure
Maintain accurate records of installation and testing activities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in data center infrastructure installation or equivalent
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to travel 25-50%, up to 75% when required; per diem and travel expenses covered
Clean background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with data center security protocols and best practices
