We are seeking an in-office, part-time (approx. 12 - 16 hours per week) accounting personnel during business hours. Minimum partial Monday is required, and other day(s) are flexible, but should establish a regular weekly schedule.
Job Description: The role of the Bookkeeper / Administrator is to efficiently handle QuickBooks tasks. The position is highly administrative, and requires attention to detail, organization, and professionalism. Applicants must take initiative and execute assignments thoroughly, accurately, and independently.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Entering and processing internal payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable & statements, accrued payroll / insurance liabilities, union reporting, employee documentation, AAEEO, etc
Assisting with project documentation such as certified payrolls, utilization reports, change order status, invoices & payment applications, etc
Assisting with research for pricing, marketing, and safety.
Required skills:
Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
Must have prior experience processing payroll directly.
Familiar with accounting practices; accounting degree preferable
