If you are detail-oriented, skilled with numbers, and enjoy handling accounting tasks, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our business as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. You will be instrumental in creating financial reports, recording transactions, managing various accounting responsibilities, and taking charge of office operations. You will be responsible for providing daily bookkeeping, answering incoming telephone calls, and administrative support.

This position is for a bookkeeper/office administrative assistant. You will be performing all general bookkeeping activities including processing receivables, payables, and processing payroll. You must be experienced with QuickBooks and have good computer skills. You will also be using the company's manufacturing and inventory management software to assist with inventory management and other production and sales-related activities.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Answering incoming telephone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate person, emails, and routine mail and ensure that messages get delivered to the appropriate party.

Assist and implement office procedures.

Track and purchase supplies for the office.

Handle shipping arrangements of products to customers.

Assist in research, edit and/or compile content for inventory as needed.

Maintain office by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, designing filing systems, participate in reviewing and approving supply requisitions.

Reviewing and paying bills and vendor correspondence.

Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

Credit card processing

Assisting in inventory control

Record financial transactions.

Reconcile accounts.

Track and process payroll.

Manage accounts payable, job costs and accounts receivable.

Handle invoicing and billing.

Make bank deposits.

Process purchase orders.

Assist with month end and year end closing processes.

Oversee office operations and provide managerial support

Requirements and Qualifications:

You must either have on the job bookkeeping experience or accounting training and/or a degree in accounting.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Two to three years’ experience in an office setting

Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times

Works well with others and can multitask.

Trustworthy, able to respect confidentiality.

Ability to handle customer service.
