Job Description
Part-Time, Full-Time or Seasonal Position (Fall & Spring), Starting at $15 an hour

Join our dedicated production team at Voyager Snacks, a company on a mission to hand-craft great tasting snacks to fuel all of life’s adventures. As an energetic, diligent, and passionate Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating gourmet popcorn and handcrafted trail mixes that satisfy our customers’ cravings during our busiest seasons.
As a Production Assistant, you will report to and collaborate with the Production Manager to fulfill customer orders. Your responsibilities will include labeling, packaging, packing orders, cleaning/maintaining our production facility, and performing other warehouse tasks.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to achieving team goals
Manually label, fill, and seal snack bags using machinery
Assist in producing gourmet popcorn in copper kettles and preparing trail mix blends
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, conduct regular equipment checks
Receive product deliveries, operate pallet jacks, and prepare pallets for shipment
Move inventory and materials across facilities
Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
Comprehensive training for all tasks will be provided
Position Requirements:
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in problem-solving, time management, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently when necessary
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Tolerance for noise and strong fragrances
Physical ability to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk for extended periods
Capacity to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
Previous experience driving a forklift is a bonus, but not required
Food production experience is not required, but preference may be given to candidates with related experience. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Starting wage of $15 an hour, with potential for an increase after a 90-day training period and evaluation
