Association Maintenance LLC. is in search of a lead applicator/fert tech. As a Fertilizer Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and vibrancy of lawns and landscapes by applying fertilizers and pesticides. You will work closely with our lawn care team to maintain high-quality turf and weed free beds for our clients. We specialize in HOAs with some commercial accounts as well. This position also comes with full time pay in the winter with snow removal. We use Z spray and lesco chariots for applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to lawns, plants, and landscapes in accordance with state, company guidelines and safety regulations.
Inspect and evaluate soil and plant conditions to determine the appropriate application methods.
Safely handle and mix chemicals according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records of applications.
Provide excellent customer service by answering any client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Operate and maintain application equipment and vehicles.
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during application processes.
Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed.
Snow removal in the winter
Qualifications:
Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or fertilizer application is preferred.
Ability to read and follow labels and instructions for pesticide and fertilizer products.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Knowledge of turf and plant care practices, soil types, and fertilization methods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Certification in pesticide application or willingness to obtain.(Category A&E)
