Top Dollar In-Home Caregiver

Need a reliable, mature, female support person for my adult daughter Thursdays through Saturdays 9 AM to 6 PM in my home in Savage. My daughter is 37-years-old and lives with me. She is in the middle stages of Huntington's Disease (HD), which causes a progressive movement and cognitive decline. She occasionally uses a walker but can attend to most of her personal needs. She slurs when she speaks, but is still understandable. I am looking for a "take-charge" woman who can organize my daughter's days to give her a quality life before this disease robs her of her ability to do so. Also, I hope you would be committed to staying with us as her condition deteriorates. You would do her meal prep, laundry, give her pre-organized meds, supervise her daily exercises, take her to occasional doctor visits, and plan fun activities for the day. I pay for the activities; you would use your own car, and there is a mileage reimbursement plan. We have one very sweet pet cat. I am retired and home most of the day, but my daughter has half of our home dedicated for her activities area. While I am doing the final interview, an agency will do the formal hiring/training and they pay an outstanding salary! Your duties would be as a PCA and/or an ILS. You do not need a certificate for those positions, as the agency will train you. Prior experienceeven if your only experience is as a motheris preferred, but not required.
