Senior Healthcare Provider
Responsibilities:
Live-in position
40 hours per week paid weekly.
PTO accrued.
General Client Summary:
A young autistic adult living in their own home.
No physical assistance necessary.
He loves Animals.
Grown up with many verities of dogs.
Many years of experience with taking care of chickens, mini goats, guinea hens, lizards and fish
he loves gardening.
Helps cook dinners.
He loves art and has large prints.
Has prints sold in an estate sale event.
Passionate about designing digital videos and publishing them on his Personal YouTube Channel.
School and work transition education.
Works great on a schedule, onsite and no computers interactions.
He loves any schooling and will be ready 30 minutes early if he has an agreed schedule plan.
Has a 4th or 5th grade Math level.
Remote school, or appointment video conferences do not work for him.
He’s in his bedroom mostly developing games or app mods and games.
Has a small family.
Challenge notes:
Guidance with paper currency.
Learning the importance of food portions sizes or using food to replace boredom. (more recent),
Food nutrients
Does not like doing chores today, but had no problem being on a schedule doing chores all the time and enjoying it.
Wants to be on his computer 24/7. Computers are one thing in life they feel they have the ability to make their own decisions and can control.
He loves to swim and take walks.
We work together to create behavior change program for one behavior at a time. He is very clean and may take long baths (schedule timely), He laughs loudly for minutes at a time throughout the day and night but he’s rarely seen outside of his bedroom.
Pay 100% goes through Dakota County FMS Program.

Night Supervision Responsibilities.
Review notes from the part-time healthcare aids.
Manage schedule for the following:
Manage part-time aids weekly schedules,
Appointments.
Medications.
Time for yourself.
Budgeting.
Recommendation.
Be creative on engaging with him.
Make sure bathrooms and kitchen are tidy.
Complete any laundry duties.
Check on the pet list.
Currently no pets.
Make sure door are locked.
Please make sure garbage cans are at the end of the driveway the day before they are scheduled to come.
Leave notes on how the night was for the day aids, list anything that could be a concern, new ideas, or if things are getting out of control or don’t make sense.
